From FDM Support
Revision as of 16:48, 9 March 2026 by Chris (talk | contribs) (New Support Page)

Sources and Inspiration

The following settings have been optimized for a BambuLab P2S. These settings and tweaks are based on the work of HoHansen, Timnolte, BlockBadger, Painted4Combat, ObscuraNoc and many more. At this point - Thank you for your work. If you like to read more about their specific settings, I linked to their posts at the end of this page.

Disclaimer: Please always check and verify before printing if the settings are applicable for your setup, printer, filament and environment.

Requirements for these settings

  • The nozzle is a stainless steel 0.2mm from BambuLab
  • The filament is SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 in the color bone white. Other colors might work as well.
  • OrcaSlicer (this guide is written based on 2.3.2-rc2)
  • Textured PEI Plate. Another will work as well but you will need to tweak your brim settings, temperature and cooling.

Settings

The settings are split up into the following section:

  • Baseline - How to start
  • Printer - Specific settings for the printer to made.
  • Filament - Configuration for the SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 filament.
  • Process - Printing profile.

Every setting is listed as a screenshot taken from OrcaSlicer.

Baseline

In the process tab on the left side you need to switch "Show/Hide advanced paramters" to on (the symbol that looks like a drawing of an atom). Otherwise some settings will be hidden.

Start with a standard profile of the P2S and set it to 0.2mm nozzle, the according build plate and the filament type. Then set your base process settings to 0.08mm layer height. This is your baseline for the following configuration, since we will only touch certain values and leave the rest as configured in the standard profile of the 0.08mm layer height.

In addition, this modification might help with adhension https://makerworld.com/de/models/1926190-p2s-auxiliary-fan-diffuser#profileId-2464793 which is recommended to print from ASA to be used in higher temperature environments.

Special Thanks

I like to give my credits and thanks to the people how directly or indirectly helped to create this profile for the P2S. TimNolte & BlockBadger on the OPR Discord server, to mention two of them, but there are many other in chat that contributed. Thank you for the ongoing feedback, tips and tweaks.

Additionally, the settings are based on the following other available profiles:
